Fabio Michienzi

Born in the heart of Rome, Fabio embodies the spirit of both Italy and Switzerland. Fluent in the tongues of Italian, French, English, Spanish, and German, he carries the essence of diverse cultures within him. His intellect is graced by a Master of Science from HEC Lausanne and a Doctorate in Economics cum laude from Università di Bologna. With a German wife and two children, who first opened their eyes to the world in London, he truly is a citizen of the globe.

An aviator at heart, Fabio holds a "frozen" Airline Transport Pilot Licence, reveling in the thrill of aerobatic flights where the horizon tumbles and spins. His passion for aviation takes him across oceans in lightweight aircraft, uncovering hidden communities, paths, and vistas on every continent. Though his career in finance spans four decades, with roles on numerous boards and as CEO of esteemed firms, the late 1990s saw Fabio’s artistic spirit flourish. He co-founded TIPS Images, a globally celebrated stock agency representing over a thousand professional photographers from around the world.
